AN EVENING WITH PHIL THOMPSON - DATE CHANGE

The date has been moved forward 24 hours to avoid a clash with a World Cup Quarter Final which could feature England. The Thursday is a rest day.

Phil was a mainstay of the all-conquering Liverpool side of the 70s and 80s. In all he played well over 450 games for the club.

His extra-ordinary medal haul includes 7 League titles, 3 European Cups, 2 UEFA Cups, 1 FA Cup and 2 League Cups.

He played with and against some of the biggest names in football and also won 42 England caps before returning to Anfield for a spell as assistant manager to Gerard Houllier.

Thommo is a now a mainstay of Sky Sports popular Soccer Saturday show working alongside the likes of Jeff Stelling, Matt Le Tissier, Paul Merson and Charlie Nicholas.

It promises to be an exceptional evening of entertainment and there is also full support from comedian Max Pressure.

Tickets cost £30 and includes a pie 'n' peas supper and it takes place on Friday 6th July at 7pm.
