HOME AT LAST!

By Steve Reynolds

After a spell of over seven weeks without a home game, Blues will finally get to play a match at Harrison Park on Saturday when Belper Town are the visitors.

Town last played at home on January 10th when they laboured to a 1-0 win over Lincoln United and the visit of the Nailers is the first of ten home league games in the last eight weeks of the season.

Improving Belper are currently 13th in the league table with 36 points from 28 games but lie five places and nine points below Leek who have two games in hand.

The Nailers are on a run of four victories in their last six games after halting a run of five defeats on the trot whilst last Saturday they beat bottom markers Quorn 2-1 at Christchurch Meadow.

Lee Casswell's main selection headache will be at the back where Darren Tinson and Aden Johnson are both nursing injuries, whilst Ricky Bridge limped off early on Kidsgrove on Wednesday night.

After the game all supporters are welcome to attend the Race Night in the Blues Bar which kicks off at 7pm, with all proceeds going towards the running of the club.

Supporters are also reminded that March Madness tickets will be available to purchase in the club shop. £25 for any five games in March and £35 for any seven games.
