Cleethorpes had long spells of possession in the First Half but they rarely troubled James Tonks in the United goal.
We were too stretched first half and got very little good possession as a result.
However we took a lead into the half time break after the rock solid Oliie BEAN headed home at the far post following a corner.
It was different after the turnround.
Darren Dye shuffled the team and made us much more compact and played on the front foot.
Jack Wilkinson and Kane Hutchinson-Wilkes were now getting on the ball supported by some great left-wing raids by Tom Cotton.
Those three combined to double the Whites lead, the inter-play finished off by WILKINSON with a sublime chip.
The visiting keeper had to be at his best to save from Hutchinson-Wilkes as United looked to finish off the game.
Tonks made a great save from a free kick to keep United's advantage.
Town obviously gambled in search of a way back but it was United who grabbed a third, when Hutchins-Wilkes slid in COTTON to round off a good day.
