With both sides having beaten the Chiefs this was always going to be an interesting contest.
The Warriors started strongly and pressured for most of the game. They struggled to break down the Swansea defence though and their sole score was through centre Johnathon Kearney late in the 1st half. Crucially the wide conversion didn't go over.
It looked like they might hold out but a somewhat harsh penalty for holding on when they had a large overlap gave the Gladiators field position. From there the Warriors suffered pretty much their only clean break and the Gladiators scored through their centre. With the conversion punted over for the extras they were in front with just minutes to go.
The Warriors pressed hard and forced their way into the Swansea 22 but a relived Gladiator side managed to hang on for the result.
