Another week...another great win for the 2s against an experienced Derby paviors side. From the off, we set the standard of playing our brand of rugby, using phase plays efficiently to break the strong defense of the opposition. A dominant first half left the home team with a sure lead
Second half started a bit sloppier and with the visitors finding a second wind resulting in their only try of the game, which the mighty blues responded too with success, scoring two more tries themselves and winning both halves. Despite the slight loss of focus there, the game as a whole was a great win for the boys, an improved performance from last week with room for more. Into next week boys ??
MOM: Gary Sumpter (the one and only) two tries, great control of the backs, plenty of line breaks. Awesome performance...despite the jug avoidance
DOD: Richie for kicking the ball whilst leaning down to pick it up for a try opportunity
