Marine entertain Widnes tonight at the Marine Travel Arena in the Semi Final of the Liverpool Senior Cup.
The Mariners will be bidding to make their first appearance in the Final for a decade, when they beat Liverpool 1-0 with a Peter Cumiskey penalty in front of their own fans to claim a seventh success in the competition.
Widnes have played at the MTA earlier this season when they beat AFC Liverpool but tonight's game will be their first meeting with the Mariners. They are the current North West Counties League First Division champions and arrive in Crosby on the back of a tremendous run of 13 wins from their last 14 games.
Marine will be looking to return to winning ways and extend their run in the Senior Cup after beating City of Liverpool and Tranmere Rovers so far.
The tie will be settled tonight and will go straight to penalties in the event of a draw after 90 minutes.
Admission to the MTA is £6 adults, £3 concessions and is an all pay cup tie - please note the usual League offers do not apply for this game.
The Graham Lounge will be open from 6pm with a guest cask ale available.
