Mariners to stage second beer festival in April

Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Marine FC is pleased to announce that a second beer festival will be held at their Marine Travel Arena, College Road, Crosby, L23 3AS between Thursday 20th and Saturday 22nd April 2017 following the success of the Club’s first ever event held at the end of the last football season.

The festival is to coincide again with the Mariners’ last home league game of this season on the Saturday when they take on play-off contenders Buxton (KO 3pm).
The hours will be Thursday 20th April 6pm to 11pm; Friday 21st April 6pm to 11pm and Saturday 22nd April midday to 11pm. The festival is free to attend with 12 cask ales and 2 ciders on sale for just £1.50 per half pint, using tokens purchased from the clubrooms reception.

Marine Chairman Paul Leary said:
“We were really pleased with our first beer fest at the end of last season. We worked hard with our staff, suppliers, volunteers and sponsors to make it a huge success and it is no surprise that we are to plan for this year’s event in the same way. Once again we have a great range of real ales and ciders available over the three days and the Club has now decided that this is to be an annual event always planned to coincide with our last game of the season selling a good mix of local and nationally brewed real ales.”

There will be hot pies and savouries available and also the usual selection of snacks from the Graham Lounge bar.
