Matlock U11’s arrived at Rotherham determined and focussed with Ryan Buxton scoring the first try.

Matlock U11’s arrived at Rotherham with a determined and focussed start to the game with Ryan Buxton quickly opening up an opportunity and scoring the first try.

Strong play in mid field ensured possession was kept for a high percentage of the game. Matlock forwards dominated the scrum and provided the Inside Centre Harris Orridge Du-Bois and Harry Morley (Full Back) chances to score. Sam Edwards worked hard as Scrum Half and showed great vision when running down the wing to widen the score and take the ball over the try line.

Oliver Brown and Jamie Lawrence were key in the game and defended well fighting to win the ball at every opportunity. The winger Bentley Graham supported his team mates throughout and was rewarded with two opportunities to score a try. The team have been working hard on the ruck and this is finally paying off with Matlock setting the ruck well and driving hard to keep the ball.
