New kit - and training TONIGHT!

By Pete Nuttall

Tonight is our last chance to get some pre-season training in before our first match on Saturday. And we've got a new kit to show off...!

As Milton Keynes' ONLY Rugby League team, we are beginning our second ever season this weekend.

We have our first game of the new season on Saturday - and we want to get off to the strongest start possible. With this in mind, it would be essential to get all interested players to training TONIGHT so we can run through drills, get everyone together, and pick a team who want to wear the shirt with pride and represent their city at Rugby League.

Last season was tough, but we had a great bunch of lads who worked hard for each other, and who took immense pride in the shirt.

This year, we've put a lot of work in off-the-field to ensure we can have a smoother season, but it'll only work if we have the players willing to put in the effort on the field - both in training, and in our games.

We've got a great new kit - (inages attached, but you'll see the full shirt in the flesh tonight) - and a dynamic new head coach in Abe Kerr, who brings a wealth of Rugby League experience to MK Wolves.

Come along to training tonight - Emerson Valley, 7pm, meet the team, join in with training, and let's be ready to tear St. Ives Roosters apart on Saturday.

And if there's anyone who played last year, and wants to give it another go, or if you can bring anyone else along - please do. The more players we have available, the better our season will be.

Let's make this year OUR year.

See you tonight.
