This Saturday we see the launch of the newly formed U23s Development squad in a Mid Wales Cup match against Aber Uni.

Having identified that far too many good players are lost between youth and senior rugby, it is hoped that this team will act as a bridge between youth and 1st team, as well as providing an opportunity for some of our former youth players to return to rugby after a few years away.

This season, we have decided that the U23s will represent Newtown RFC in the Mid Wales Cup, kicking off this weekend at home against Aber Uni at 1pm.

Come down and support the boys, there will no doubt be some very good players on show.
