Ollerton Town's bus may have broken down before it could even complete a considerable portion of the lengthy trip to Skegness on Saturday, but there was no stopping Dave Winter's side as they made it five games unbeaten in all competitions with a clinical 3-0 victory over Skegness Town.
The Town took the lead around the half hour mark as the prolific Gav King got his eighteenth of the season, steering Aaron Sennett-Neilson's cross into the back of the net. Minutes later, it was 2-0. A big kick upfield by Ollerton 'keeper Phil McGann was dealt with calamitously by the Skegness 'keeper, allowing Sean Dickinson to head into an empty net from a few yards out.
Skegness worked hard to try and get back into the game but Ollerton's defence stood firm and they got their third in the 81st minute to kill the game off. King laid the ball off for Dickinson and he slipped it through for Lewis Bingham who fired into the back of the net for his second in two games.
