Proud Hannah to lead Wales Women against Canada

By Gary Williams

It's a dream come true for one Wrexham rugby-mad schoolgirl.

Hannah Wright stated a couple of years ago to her hero, Rachel Taylor, that her wish was to lead the Wales Womens team out for an international match at Cardiff.

Well, on Saturday, 24th November, that's exactly what is going to happen as Hannah has been chosen as the Wales Women's team mascot for their fixture against Canada, at Cardiff Arms Park.

I imagine in Hannah's dream she was playing for Wales so we'll put this down as a practice run!

Proud father Chris, who many will know as the official photographer for RGC Women, and guest photographer for many teams in North Wales, admitted that he will have difficulty in keeping the tears in check as his little girl enters the field on Saturday.

A super honour for Hannah who we hope has a fantastic day. To Chris, don't worry about keeping the tears in check, we'll all be in the same boat!

See you there...
