Foxy turns to talented youngsters as fixture backlog is set to bite.

Having brought in young defender Brandon Thompson from Frickley Athletic last month, Parkgate manager Billy Fox has again turned to promising youngsters to supplement his squad, as recent postponements result in a busy run-in, writes Colin Muncie for the Parkgate FC Website.
Midfielders Sam Race and Dan Palmer have joined the Steelmen on dual registration from Frickley Athletic, having more recently played at Armthorpe Welfare in Toolstation NCEL Division One.
Foxy told the Club Website “Brandon Thompson, Sam and Dan are all part of the successful Frickley Under 19 setup and Dan has made several appearances for the first team as a goal scoring midfielder”.
Frickley are struggling to get their young lads into their first team as they are playing well , but they rate Sam highly and Spencer (Fearn, Frickley Athletic Manager ) recommended him to me” Foxy explained. “They will all get games here- particularly because of the fixture schedule and player availability in the midweek games”.
