Good luck to Sam!

Best wishes go to Main forward Sam Thompson who will very soon relocate to Edinburgh to take on a new venture.

Sam will be a big miss at Percy Main both on and off the pitch, a top lad who has helped out in many ways including running the 'Game of Winners' competition and making the after match bait at the back end of last season, not to mention many sterling displays in his side's attack.

He signed for The Main during the 2013-14 relegation season and was an influential member of our 1st division championship winning season 12 months later.

Sam played 87 games for Percy Main, scoring 42 goals and did not accrue a single booking during that time (a bit like Gary Lineker!) - hopefully he'll call in again when he's down our way in the future.
