Walker Signs!

Argaum Register Joe Walker

Ivybridge back row forward Joe Walker today put pen to paper and signed for Plymouth Argaum.

Joe, son of Argaum stalwart Martyn 'Whisky' Walker, started his rugby journey at Argaum in 2003 when the club started it's your section on the back of England's success in the Rugby World Cup.

After moving on to Ivybridge, Joe progressed into the 1st XV, after impressing for the 2nds and scoring the winning try against Argaum in the 2015 Lockie Cup Final.

Joe has had the occasional guest appearance in Argaum colours sometimes featuring in the traditional Boxing Day match against OPMs alongside his father and brother Adam.

Joe stopped playing last year to join the Royal Marines and is now keen to get back into the swing of things.

Available for selection for the next league game, Joe should bring the welcome addition of energy to the Chiefs pack.
