Despite conceding a couple of disappointing late goals the Reserves walked away from this game with heads held high and in the knowledge that with key games in hand and a great squad spirit they are able to put pressure on the top sides including leaders Swansea University
Despite the rain the surface was again perfect and Town's football was a pleasure to watch
Tom Blizzard open the scoring in the first quarter after a great move and then later in the first half young Tom Owen, who is having a great season, stepped up with the first of his 2 goals. He got is second in the 3rd quarter which was followed by a rate goal by Andrew Shaw.
Pontyclun never gave up and after pulling one back they got another through a penalty but time had run out and the home team won 4-2
