After having 3 points taken off us from our win at STM Sports this was the lads's first league win of the season and the year. Although to be fair this was the first game of the year as well.
Against a team in 3rd place the lads put on an excellent performance at Parc Ynysderw and took the game to the visitors from the first whistle
Everyone in the squad contributed both in attack and defence with a real positive mindset that was great to say. As the game developed you could see the confidence come back into the squad
An outstanding run and goal from Declan Evans, a man of the match performance by him, gave the lads a 1-0 win at half time. In the second half a cracking header by Jackson Brereton gave Town a 2 goal advantage early in the second half. Then, as tempers started to boil over, Morgan Bevan was put through and he calmly scored the third. The celebration showed this is a young team that is together and wearing the Town badge with pride.
The lads will look to repeat this performance on Monday 15th January as they face Ton Pentre away under lights at 7:30pm
