On Saturday, from 1.30pm, top local amateur rugby league action – sponsored by Hudson Foster Financial Services of Ilkley – will be played our at the home of the Bulls, with Queensbury, West Bowling and Victoria Rangers all taking part.
Queensbury A will tackle Victoria Rangers A in the Hudson Foster Trophy final, at 1.30pm, with West Bowling battling Queensbury in the Jack Senior Memorial Final from 3.30pm.
Gates open at 1.00pm and admission is priced at £6 (adults) and £3 (students/concessions). Under-14s will be able to gain free admission, with car parking available at just £2.
Proceeds will be shared between participating clubs, in addition to fellow local sides Clayton, Odsal Sedbergh, Wibsey Warriors and Wyke.
A Bulls spokesperson said: “We are delighted to be welcoming the Bradford Finals Day back to the Provident Stadium, Odsal, for 2015.
“These clubs are the very fabric of rugby league in our city and we are looking forward to hosting two exciting cup finales.”
Organiser John Piercy added: “Most of these clubs have been at the heart of their local communities for decades, running both youth and senior teams.
“Wyke, for instance, were founded in 1892 and are possibly the oldest amateur club in existence anywhere in the world.
“Our finals have been played at Odsal for well over 50 years and we are delighted to be back this year.”
