Rainworth, a village with a football team,
Currently operating in the NECL scene.
Team or Manager of the month do we really care?
We’ve always accepted the playing fields unfair!

We’ll celebrate our unbeaten October & November with pride,
There may have been equals, but surely no better side.
They say you’ll win nothing without a large budget, my friend,
Well think again, because we’ve just bucked the trend.

A management team and players as committed as can be,
Not forgetting ‘Dusty’ Hunt, by can he sup tea!
No Wembley this year, it’s now a distant dream,
Beaten on the day by a better team.

Whatever happens now until our last game,
We’ve really enjoyed our moment of fame.
Oh, and if you’re bored and doing Nowt,
Why not get on line and give our lads a vote.
