The Heat is On………

It is clear to see that there are some very strong Teams participating this year at Amsterdam 7s, perhaps stronger than any other year. There are actually too many to mention but they do include Suzies Saloon, Ireland, Italy, Waterboys, Wailers, Marauders and of course ourselves Samurai International RFC.

Once again the Samurai team has been selected in true Invitation Team Barbarian style fashion. This year we will have no less than 6 different nationalities with us which will coincide nicely with the 6 minute training session we will have on Saturday morning before our first game. This particular group have never played together before but as the tournament progresses we will hopefully gel and produce some exciting rugby. “Unlike many teams we don’t have the luxury of being able to meet and train together before a tournament but that’s what makes the experience and opportunity so special” said Steff Thomas, the Samurai Team Manager.

The Team will as always look pretty Hot as well as they wear their exclusive Samurai Warrior themed match kit. For the 2017 Amsterdam Sevens, Samurai International are sponsored by Mourant Ozannes and we are very grateful for their support.

Jordan Simpson-Heft will captain the side with Luke Crocker and Adrian Curry as vice-captains….. Amsterdam here we come!
