AFC Emley Match Preview

Shirebrook are back at Langwith Road on Saturday when AFC Emley visit Shirberook go into the game on the back of Wednesday nights defeat at Winterton so Shirebrook will be looking to get back to winning ways Emley sit 1 place below Shirebrook in the league with 4 points from 4 games played with 1 win 1 draw and 2 defeats so far this season.

Shirebrook Manager Rob Camm had this to say about the game

We got a positive performance against Winterton in the league on Wednesday. Yes we didn’t get the result but the commitment from each and every player was there to see. I thought Winterton where excellent on the night and looked like a team that had been together for a while. It’s going to take time for us to gel but with that sort of commitment I’m sure we will sooner rather than later.
The likes of Levi Owen and Brad Holmes have started very well and will be big players for us going forward, also Billy Simpson coming back into the defense from injury had a great game. We have been busy this week trying to get a few players back from injury and a couple of new additions to improve us. Hopefully all of those players will be available for tomorrow’s game. Emley are a solid outfit who always cause you problems.
They’ve made a few good signings looking at it so I’m sure they will be looking to get the win to push there season on as will we.
