Open Age Game on Saturday cancelled

We are sorry to confirm that there will be no Open Age fixture at CWC Park on Saturday afternoon as originally scheduled. Allerton Bywater, who we have already travelled to play away earlier in the season, have withdrawn from the league. Despite our best efforts, we have been unable to arrange an alternative fixture or friendly game for tomorrow.

Having withdrawn from the Pennine League to support the inaugural Autumn League campaign, we have been very disappointed with how the season has unfolded, with fixtures being postponed or cancelled more frequently than played. We will re-evaluate our plans for Open Age rugby beyond the scheduled summer season, in 2019.

There is junior action at CWC Park with two Yorkshire Cup games taking place on Sunday 4 November.

Our Under 13's take on Myton at 10.30 and our Under 15's play York at 11.30.

We have also entered a team into the Under 18's competition, which Martin Scrimshaw will coach. They are away at Moldgreen, also on Sunday, 12.30 pm kick off.
