In a well-disciplined performance from a back to strength Southwick side almost claimed a point from high flying Marden.
Marden took a commanding 1:3 lead in the first period with very fast paced and slick possession hockey.
Rob Lowe’s strike keeping Southwick in the game.
Southwick had chances in the second period but they were unable to convert.
Late on Antony McAlister converted to make it very uncomfortable for the high flying Marden who are hot on the heels of the leaders Ashford in the league.
Again this performance shows that Southwick should be much further up the division.
