Security Liaison Officer

Firstly my name is Marc Palmer, I have been appointed with a few roles within the club for the new season.

I am the clubs new Security Liaison Officer and will work closely with our Safety Officer and Stewards to insure everyone is safe outside and within the Stadium.

Before moving to Stamford in 2011 I previously worked within the security sector for over 10 years, most of which I was Security Manager in a major London hospital. I was also a Police Officer based in Stamford. I’m now a house dad and lead singer of the local band called Halo.

My other role within the club comes on match days, it’s my voice you will hear over the public address system, announcing events and future fixtures and of course the important goal scorers, subs and Man of the Match during the game.

As part of this role, I’ve created an email address where you can email me with questions for the Manager and I will then pick out a few that are suitable to read, and ask either of them on match day. This will be done once a month on a trial basis, your input and thoughts are relevant to this club, now’s your chance to have your say.
