Home Game for Ladies 3s - Nice!

It wasn't a win, but we played well...

Laura's team talk got us off to a good start - we circled the ball on their free hits but they were strong on the attack and kept coming at us. The defence were determined - Charlotte made some good saves, and Julie and Laura kept the ball flying down the wings, finding the smallest of gaps to get the ball out of the danger area on 16s. Amy played a blinder up front (MOM), with Michelle running the ball down several times, and making some great runs into space. The goals just weren't happening today, but we had some short corners and kept our heads up. Plenty to be pleased about - particularly the determined defending and cutting out their passes mid-field (Vix MOM2). We can keep working on our fitness and pace on the ball - see you at training!
