Young Umpire Challenge 2017

The closing date for the North Young Umpire Challenge is Friday 17th March.
The North Young Umpire Action Group are looking to recruit Young Umpires to take part in the North Young Umpire Challenge at the North In2Hockey Clubs Festival on Sunday 30th April at Leeds University Weetwood Sports Ground. Young Umpires will be on camp from Saturday 29th April preparing for the games on Sunday. Accommodation and meals will be provided and each umpire will receive a t-shirt.
Umpires need to be aged between 13-21, having ideally already achieved their Level 1 umpire award, however if they are actively working towards their L1 they will still be considered for selection.
Umpires can nominate themselves, and this should be supported by their umpire coach, county/regional HUA, county umpiring secretary, club umpire developer or similar.
