John Varney

The club have heard the very sad news that John Varney, a long-standing supporter of Thornbury RFC, has passed away.
John's funeral is on Wednesday 31st May at St Mary's Church, Thornbury at 2.30pm. Then burial at Alveston and John will be remembered afterwards at Thornbury Cricket Club.

Pre-Season fixtures arranged
Thornbury are looking to play three games in preparation for the 2017-18 season. Two games have been arranged so far.
End of Season Charity Rugby
On Saturday 13th Bristol Wanderers, the local charity team that includes our own Jon Day, play Team Endeavour at Clifton, kick off 5:00.
