Under 11 Match Report

In conditions that could only be best described ‘good for ducks’ Wakefield City were just too good for Thornes. At half time Wakefield were leading and by full time they had increased their lead.

Thornes again battled throughout but were never in contention. However their effort was faultless. Thornes got their deserved goal through Ethan Train, who also could have had a second, but was denied by the post.

Best effort of the day went to Lennie Dunford for his battling first half and some good saves in the second half.

SPA Air Conditioning Man of The Match went to Lewis Larder for his continued running tackling and overall battling in the midfield.
