Last away game
Towcester travelled to Bedford on there last away game of the year , With another slightly rearranged squad Towcester didn't take long to add points to the board with some powerful forward play from
Rob Lees and Mike Bristow the ball came into the hands of full back
Alex Chalcraft to score within 3 minutes. This got the Tows squad wanting more and this came quickly as Bedford missing tackles let winger Kris Ancil cross over the White wash with
Callum Garwood kicking the conversion. With the sun in there eyes Towcester pushed for another try and again this was due to the forwards dominating a short spell which allowed
Callum Garwood to find space and with some fancy footwork got his first try of the game with another conversion.
On the restart Towcester were caught napping and let through Bedford to score their 1st try. Tows soon hit back put it took another 10 minutes due to Bedford having most of the play but Towcester managed to steal the ball which was given to Tom Ray to add to the score board half time 5-26
The start of the 2nd half Bedford again caught Towcester napping and scored their second try of the game and a conversion , with some encouraging words from the side lines and from capt
Yuon Skelton Tows decided to play rugby again and within 6 minutes
Alex Chalcraft scored .Bedford not wanting to be left out came back at Tows and threw everything into a fast moving attack to come away with another try and conversion . It took Tows a while to get the ball back of Bedford but flanker
Ryan Blackwell and new 2nd row George Raven it was stolen in a maul and winger Kris Ancil finished it off with a good run final score 19-36 .
