Mini and Junior Awards and Whole Club Touch Rugby

Yesterday the Clouds, Rain and Chilly temperatures lifted for the Annual Mini / Junior Awards at TRING Rugby. The day started with a Festival of Touch Rugby that was attended by many of the Senior players who pitted their skills against the up an coming stars of Tring. It was great to watch and I know from the smiling faces from both the 'Older' and 'Younger' generations a fantastic time was had by all.

The awards ceremony & BBQ got underway about 12pm and it was wonderful to see so many of TRING's family and friends come along and enjoy the afternoon. It was a sea of Black / Gold shirts across the whole of the first team pitch and from my point of view only strengthened the 'One Club' ethos that exists. People were having a great time enjoying the delights of the Bar !!. The smaller ones enjoying the 'Bouncy Castle' (even some older ones later in the day..).

Our partner club WASPS supported the ceremony with the arrival of STING and Player Joe Burton, both on hand to present the awards to the players. WASPS continue to be a great supporter of TRING Rugby and we look forward to that continuing …. Congratulations to them for avoiding relegation and remaining in the Aviva Premiership. Events like yesterday would not take place without the support of the Players & Parents and for that I send out a 'BIG THANKS' to you ALL.

However, there still needs to be people who work behind the scenes to ensure everything runs like clockwork and on that point I would like express my 'ENORMOUS THANKS' to the following.
