Term Two Excitement

If like me, you've eaten too much turkey, too many mince pies, and frankly drank too much Christmas baileys then it may be time to get back into shape hockey style. Training will be running normal times with matches kicking off on the 14th, and let's not forget our beloved Monday morning fitness!

As for circle, I hope you have all received and read the lovely mail from our "super sexy" social secs. (Yes the words super and sexy is in inverted commas... a symbolic form of irony.... good alliteration though girls.) So you should be on it with your circle themes too, but just in case, here you go:
Week 1 - Tour Shirts (or social shirts for those who were unavailable.... gutted!)
Week 2 - Social Shirts
Week 3 - Generation Circle (a UWLHC tradition... Fresh = babies. 2nd years = brides. 3rd years = grannies. 4th years = dead.... gutted for you.)
Week 4 - Social Shirts
Week 5 - Baywatch Circle (another UWLHC tradition... Bam will probs be on it with shirts later Fresh)
Week 6 - Social Shirts
Week 7 - Army Circle
Week 8 - Onesie/PJ Circle (great shout I have a LOT of LOVE for this!)
Week 9 - Varsity Circle (Fresh you'll learn all about Varsity soon)
Week 10 - Bodvell's last circle :( (Kind of has a ring to it I suppose, reminds me a lot of VodBull which I like sooo....)

So in the words of Bodvell (well it's worth a try): " Its that wonderful time of year again to start buying your circle tickets for next term! They’re on sale now so get them ASAP because the first 2 weeks will probably be rammed like last term. In fact don’t get them asap, GET THEM RIGHT NOW…not tomorrow, not the next day…NOW! Otherwise you’ll forget and Jo and I will have to bribe Chris Sury again…

If you’re expecting to go to every circle this term we thoroughly recommend you get a season pass as its cheaper and saves you the hassle of remembering to buy one each week. Freshers this applies to you as you have NO excuse not to come to circle every week :D"

Anyway on par with my list of fun things to do this term how could I forget the best event of the year. THE BEST I tell you. Of course the fantastic hockey ball. Our annual event combined with the boys, and an odd occurrence from mixed... this is the place to be on Saturday February 25th. Tickets will shortly arrive, so book in your nails and your hair and go shopping for some glad rags whilst the sales are still in town.
