We were there!

Yes! It’s true, we won. I know because I was there!
We welcomed back Dave Erentz and Damon Charlton. Jack Gray was on the bench and also debutant Rico Tomusange. Arnold should have gone ahead in the first minute but Jerome O’Connor missed a golden chance and Dave Erentz made 3 early timely tackles. Arnold were assuming midfield control but in the 15th minute Tizi Maninga combined to set up Dan Hudson for his first Bridgford goal. In the 24th minute keeper Sam Clark miss punched a cross but the danger was cleared. Kieron Davies had 2 shots blocked but right on the stroke of half time Hudson conceded a penalty and Eugene ?? equalised from the spot. Half time 1-1.
Richie Holmes half time rollicking worked as Bridgford came out for the 2nd half with more purpose. Jack Gray came on for Ellis Read and after having an early chance Tizi Mananga was replaced by Frankie Corbett. The injection of pace worked as Gray slipped a pass to Kieron Davies who hammered home from 30 yards on 55th minute and on 65th minute, not to be out done, Gray added a third from about 25 yards. Tony Hall was on hand to force a ball of the goal line as Arnold tried to fight back but the points were sealed minutes later when a superb through ball from Joe Phillips saw Jack Gray slip home his second and Bridgford's 4th. Dan Hudson free kick near the end almost saw Gray net his hat trick but his shot went just wide.
The 2nd half improvement was probably our best performance with the whole team at last finding some cohesion and hopefully we can carry this forward to Barrow Town on Saturday.
