11 Men Lose 3-0. 10 Men Win 1-0

Bridgford once again fielded a changed side which included 4 of last season's title winning squad, Captain Will Heath, Dave Erentz, the returning Aaron Large and goalkeeper Sam Clark. Bridgford started brightly and a run by Akim Akinbenu took him into the penalty area but his shot was blocked by Radcliffe's, Ben Maule. In the 13th minute a mix up in defence involving Dave Erentz and Will Heath led to an interception by Holwell's Michael Stevenson who lifted the ball from distance over goalkeeper Sam Clark for the opening goal. Bridgford immediately countered and were creating chances of their own but these were coped with easily by the Holwell defence. Goalkeeper Clark had to make a point blank save from one of the Holwell counter attacks. Once again Bridgford conceded a late end of half goal to trail 2-0 at half time.

The 2nd half started with Bridford playing uphill, against the wind with the floodlights in their eyes. Bridgford went further behind after a bizarre incident in the 65th minute. Hollwell's Tinsley rounded goalkeeper Clark and despite being pulled back, put the ball into the back of the net. The referee sporting a severe short back and sides with plenty on the top, in tribute to the home team's 100 year plus history, disallowed the goal. Instead he awarded Holwell a penalty and sent of goalkeeper Clark. Betteridge duly smashed home the penalty to give Hollwell a 3 - 0 lead. Ironically Bridgford now played their best football of the whole game and dominated the last 30 minutes which included a Leon Shattock thunderbolt goal after a clever Bridgford passing move.

And so the game ended 3 - 1 with Bridgford still needing points from the last few games to ensure safety.
