Fantastic win for the U13s...

Amazing how motivating ice cream can be!

A commanding match performance tonight by the U13 squad against Windsor Archers. They took the lead in the first quarter with 9 goals to 1 and never looked back. The circle defence combo of Aimee and Gemma worked brilliantly with some fantastic interceptions and the opposition struggling to get the ball into the circle. Our centre court players mixed it with everyone having a quarter off to recover from the hot conditions. Thea returned to match play with some great drives and interceptions. Tilly partnered superbly with Ellie and Holly to bring the ball down to the shooting circle with all players using space intelligently and showcasing strong drives. And our shooting combo of Lizzie and Lizzi worked amazingly well with very few shots missed and some great movement around the circle.

The team had scored 27 goals going into the final quarter. The challenge of achieving 40 goals was laid down by Coach Claire with the promise of ice cream at training for a success....and the team went one better scoring a total of 41 goals! Amazing!

Opposition's player of the match was Ellie - thoroughly well deserved for such a confident match with fantastic movement down the court.
