Travelling supporters guide: Macron Cup final

Useful information for Widnes supporters travelling to Fleetwood Town for tonight's Macron Cup final

A triple-figure following will travel to Fleetwood Town's Highbury Stadium tonight for Widnes' Macron Cup final tie against Burscough.

Steve Akrigg and Kev Towey's side will be looking to achieve a promotion/cup winning double after having already secured promotion to the Evo-Stik League Division One West for the 2018/19 season.

Highbury Stadium...

With the completed revamp of the ground to match Fleetwood's recent success of climbing the leagues, Highbury Stadium has a current capacity of 5,311 with 2,701 seats.

Only the Parkside Stand will be open to supporters of both clubs for tonight's final.

Coach Travel

Supporters who have booked are reminded that coach travel to tonight's final will depart the Halton Stadium at 5pm, expected to arrive in Fleetwood no later than 6.30pm.

POSTCODE - FY7 6TX

Travelling by car

Exit the M6 at Junction 32 and take the M55 towards Blackpool. Then leave the M55 at Junction 3 and take the A585 towards Fleetwood.

On the outskirts of the town you will come to a roundabout with Blackpool and Fylde College on your left. Continue straight on towards Fleetwood but after the roundabout take the first left into Copse Road.

After about a mile as you pass Fleetwood Fire station, branch left and turn left on to Radcliffe Road, as if you were going back on yourself. Then take the next right on to Stanley Road and the stadium is at the bottom of this road on the left.

PARKING

Unfortunately no parking is available at the ground but street parking is permitted on the surrounding roads.

MATCHDAY FACILITIES

Hot food, alcoholic and soft refreshments are available in the concourse. Alternatively, The Highbury Chippy is a short walk away from the ground.
