12th Man Fund

By Web Master

Support the Dragons, become our 12th man.

Wivenhoe Town Football Club would like to compete at the highest level and is a club with rich history, with many ups and downs over the years. The committee members volunteer their time to help push the club in the right direction but recognise that there may be people with similar ambition for the club who just don’t have the time to volunteer. A new scheme, the “12th Man Fund", is a way to give everyone an opportunity to contribute to their team’s progress.

The “12th Man Fund” will provide additional income that will be used solely to contribute towards the expenses of the first team players, the funds will help the club to reward players for their loyalty and
commitment and will help to make the club a more attractive proposition when attempting to recruit new players.

We want the Wivenhoe Town Football Club to be able to compete at the highest level its budget will allow.

A successful “12th Man Fund” could raise enough financial backing to support this ambition, and this is where YOU can help.

The scheme is open to all those who can donate a minimum of £10 per month. If 50 supporters were able to subscribe it would make a significant difference to our competitiveness on the field.

To celebrate your contribution, an area will be designated in the clubhouse entrance and in the match day
programme where all the “12th Man Fund” supporters will be recognised.

Monthly payments will be made by standing order and the proceeds ring fenced solely for player expenses.
A monthly standing order mandate is available from the Club Secretary on home match days.

Alternatively, if you wish to make a one off contribution towards this scheme, then please make your cheque payable to “Wivenhoe Town Football Club” and your contribution will be added to the player
expenses fund.
