Marist v Adwick-le-Street Nomads
Saturday 11 October 2008
Yorkshire 5B
Adwick Nomads were unable to fulfil this fixture when the late withdrawal of four players left them unable to get a team across to Hull in time to play the game. Secretary John Sheppard said “We have a number of players who work in the emergency services and on Saturday their work commitments ran on and left us stranded for players and transport. WE would have travelled with 13 men but when two of the front row dropped out we had to bite the bullet and accept the deduction of two league points. The game will have to be played at some time in the future.
