Preview-Penistone Church (A)

AFC Emley, will be looking to put their 4-1 defeat to Yorkshire Amateur behind them when they travel to local rivals Penistone in the quarter final of the county cup on Wednesday evening.
After trailing 0-4 at the break to the 'Ammers on Saturday, Emley restored some pride by keeping the hosts scoreless in the 2nd half while also scoring themselves through Gregg Porter, and they will look to keep that up in what will be a tough ask at Penistone.
Penistone have got the better of Emley in recent games and with a quartet of ex-Emley regulars in Coduri, Brennan, Ryan and Graham, will certainly be keen to add to the recent form.
However, Emley themselves boast a couple of ex-Penistone lads who will be wanting to progress to the semi final at the expense of their ex team mates.
Hopefully a big crowd and lots of Emley fans will be there to see Emley progress to the semi finals.
