Spartans send K's to Minor Cup

AFC Keynsham lost to old rivals the Spartans 4-3 in the first round of the league cup, sending them to the lower half of the draw for the Plate.

The bizarre game was nil nil at half time before a flurry of goals in the 2nd half.

The K's goals were supplied by Louis Turner and a Rich Izzard brace.

Mike Swanson picked up a booking for a late challenge on the Spartan keeper.
