and still leading the Lancs/Cheshire Division One League.
Altrincham Kersal travelled to Liverpool Collegiate on Saturday for their latest League contest. Liverpool took an early lead with a penalty which was quickly followed by an unconverted Altrincham try. Altrincham's game then took control which resulted in a further try which was converted making the score 3-8. Liverpool took advantage of a loose ball to run in a try giving a score line of 8-12. However, the visitors started piling on the pressure and the result was a well worked try leaving the half time score at 8-19. In the second half it was all Altrincham's game resulting in five converted tries without conceding a point. There was some excellent work by forwards and backs with both units combining to produce some great rugby. The final score was 8-54 with Altrincham Kersal scoring eight tries, seven of which were converted. This was a powerful bonus point win for the Altrincham Kersal team who are still leading the Lancs/Cheshire Division One League.
We welcome Hoylake to Stelfox Ave next Sat 1st Dec, with no other Senior matches, we hope to see a great crowd down to support the lads.
