Ashton United welcome Whitby Town to Hurst Cross on Saturday looking to get the promotion push back on track after a rocky few results in recent weeks. With only 7 games to go picking up points in each and every one will be crucial, not only to cement a play off position but also to pick up the teamwork, momentum and winning mentality that’s needed to prevail at the final hurdle.
Whitby Town will not be in town to simply roll over and hand the points to the Robins, indeed they will be looking to secure a double having run out 3-2 victors in a somewhat controversial reverse fixture.
The game kicks off at 3pm and will be followed by the Manchester Premier League derby between Manchester City and Manchester United on TV screens in the clubhouse. For those that want to make a full footy day out of it there’s also the Merseyside Derby on TV’s before the Whitby game. All welcome to join us.
