Promotion-chasing Ashton United host mid-table Stafford Rangers in what should be a thoroughly entertaining encounter.

The hosts come into the game on the back of a 4-0 home win against Whitby Town, a game where they imposed themselves in the early stages.

Jody Banim will be asking his side to do the same again against Stafford, who could prove to be a tough side to break down.

With two wins in their last three fixtures, the visitors will be full of confidence at Hurst Cross and will be dreaming of causing an upset.

The Robins know that a win will take them level on points with second-placed Warrington Town as the season nears the end.

Automatic promotion is the main aim for the home side but finishing in a playoff position will be pleasing for Banim and his players.
