Poor end of the season may cost Bare promotion.
After loosing the toss Bare were asked to bowl and again got off to a great start. Albon (2-8) demolishing stumps. J.Oliver (11), J.Dodd (15) and S.Yates (13) offering some resistance in the middle order but Oz (5-26) ripped through the middle and top order but blowing out of overs. Cook (1-42) getting in the act early as Shireshead slumped to 44/8. After P.Oliver was dropped twice and Bhardwaj (1-34) getting wicket 9 for 76, Oliver went in beast mode scoring 67 before being bowled and setting a competitive 131.
After a lovely Mo tea, the Bare collapse started. P. Martin (15) and stand in curator A.Jay (10) the only Bare batters in double fingers. J.Oliver(1-12), G.Bleasdale (4-24), P.Oliver (3-9) and A.Weir (2-0) the wicket takers with some good catching from 'Shires.' Now its down to Netherfield 3s to take points off Holme for Bare to be promoted...only time will tell. A mixed season for Bare ending on a possible low but thanks to all that have helped with the season (you know who you are!).
