Comeback Win Over Ilford

Barkingside came from behind to win 3-1 in the Cricklefield Derby against Ilford, to boost their chances of survival.

Ilford had gone ahead through Jake McWee on 16 minutes, only for ‘Side to score three times in the final 22 minutes to seal a third win in four games.

Roddy Lemba, James Briggs and Michael Ogboin scored the goals for Michael Walther’s men who now rise to 15th in the table.

‘Side are next in action at home to Takley on Saturday. Kick-off is at 3pm at Cricklefields.
