Barry boss extends historic stint at Jenner Park

Barry Town United are proud to announce that manager Gavin Chesterfield has tonight put pen to paper and signed a new contract that will extend his time at Jenner Park by at least a further two years.

Chesterfield, who arrived almost a full decade ago in June 2007, has guided the Barry club to four promotions during his tenure, most recently to the Welsh Premier League for the first time since 2004.

A championship winner in Welsh League Division One, Two and Three, the former Exeter City player has also led the Town to a Welsh Cup semi-final in March 2013 and the Nathaniel MG Cup final earlier this year.
