It’s our final Kids First Champion for the season! David ‘Flats’ Flatman and two special guests surprise Ellingham & Ringwood RFC.

By Pitch Hero

This month, Flats invited England Roses’ Danielle ‘Nolli’ Waterman and England Rugby’s Jason Robinson along to Hampshire, to surprise our April Kids First Champion Club, Ellingham & Ringwood RFC.

Ellingham & Ringwood RFC were chosen for their work in retaining their players. By encouraging every kid to be a part of Rugby and having a clear upskilling schedule in place for coaches, they’ve managed to grow from 177 to 285 players in only 2 seasons!

It’s been a great season – and we’ll be back in September under our new name, Quilter. Nothing else changes – just the name: Old Mutual Wealth Kids First will be called Quilter Kids First. Watch out for Quilter Kids First Champions and you can of course continue to nominate you club or school throughout the summer!

So if you think that your club or school has what it takes to become the next Quilter Kids First Champion, then you can find out how your club could become one. As always, a panel will select the winners and all Champions will receive an amazing prize!

To be in with the chance of your rugby club or school becoming a Quilter Kids First Champion, visit the England Rugby website, select ‘Nominate’ and complete the entry form.
