Bedford Town FC 'energised' by new kit and sponsor deal

By James Smiles

Bedford Town Football Club is delighted to unveil our 2017/18 kit.

The Eagles are delighted to announce Britain’s fastest growing independent energy supplier Utilita Energy as the club’s main sponsor for the next two seasons.

Its logo will adorn our new jersey, supplied by leading manufacturer Macron. We’d like to thank Adam Harpur and his Macron Hertfordshire team for their support in supplying the fantastic kit. The Management Commitee would also like to thank James Edmunds and the Supporters Club for their efforts in sourcing an excellent deal with Macron.

Utilita Energy is Britain’s leading Pay-As-You-Go energy provider – it has seen remarkable growth in recent years, hitting 500,000 customers in April, up from just 200,000 less than two years ago.

This agreement follows on from Utilita’s successful relationships with the likes of Celtic, Rangers, Crystal Palace, Leeds United, Derby County and other big names from the football world.

“We are delighted to support Bedford Town as the club looks to get back into the Southern Premier Division,” said Utilita Head of Marketing and Communications, Jem Maidment.

“Bedford is a proud name in non league football and we are genuinely honoured to have our logo on that famous blue jersey until at least the end of the 2018/19 season.

“We will work closely with the club to highlight our offer to Eagles fans and raise brand awareness of both our domestic and commercial energy products across Bedfordshire.”

The club would like to extend our thanks to Utilita for their support and hope this exciting new partnership can be the start of a fantastic relationship.

We would also like to thank KCW Windows, a loyal supporter of the club, who have previously sponsored our home shirts. The company have agreed to continue by becoming our away shorts sponsor.

As mentioned a few weeks ago, Paul Riches Skips will continue to be our away sponsor, having been a loyal financial backer of the Eagles for a number of years.

We are hopeful that Supporters will be able to purchase both first team shirts from the Supporters Club shop at the Luton Town home game on Saturday 8th July.
