Belgrave blitzed by Bugbrooke but salvage a bonus point

By

Written by a man in new shoes, with an old pair for sale and still looking for famous people at the ground.2019 here we go

Today the turnaround fixture of the season with the visit of Bugbrooke RFC to Belgrave for the opening fixture of 2019,out with the old my shoes and in with the new,my shoes thanks to Craig(moony)Jackson,London fashion week here we come.
The match official for the day Mr Dave Cox who is a resident of Stoney Stanton,on the kick off Belgrave defended the clubhouse end in what turned out to be a high scoring match full of open rugby.
Bugbrooke opened the scoring with a long run from the halfway line by Elliot Holton,Belgrave hit back when Kamil(the bolt)Szczepaniak out ran the defence on a 20 yard run.
Bugbrooke went into attacking mode and there were scores for Adam Pepper with a long run down the touch line and Jay Smith who was set up by a long pass onto the wing.An attack by Belgrave saw Roddy(weak ankles)Jonas put points on the board, just before his wife and children arrived at the ground.Sometimes that's the way it is Roddy.Scores by Ben James and Johnny Palmer put Bugbrooke further ahead. With halftime looming Tom(my bodies in pieces)Knifton dropped on the ball with the Belgrave pack pushing over the Bugbrooke line.
Halftime saw the score at Bugbrooke 31 to Belgraves 19.A search for famous people at the ground yielded no return. But the lady supporters of Bugbrooke are hoping to be famous and are waiting to be discovered, similar to my nephew Ali Mac in LA.My advice to you is the same as I gave him.Do not give up your day jobs.
At the start of the second half with score as it was Belgraves only hope was to score a fourth try for a losing bonus point,a pushover by the Belgrave pack ,Elliot Walker put points on the board.
Further scores by Ben Atkin and Adam Pepper,Bugbrooke ran out deserved winners by 45 points to Belgraves 24.Next week an away fixture at Coalville. In 1890 the last battle of the Indian wars in the USA took place at Wounded Knee looking at the Belgrave injury list this might be named the battle of Joe and Jacks shoulders,Toms fingers and Jamies knee and any more you care to add.
On my walk home several of the local robbers attempted to relief me of my new shoes, but I beat them off with my old shoes which are still for sale but a bit blood stained. No sensible offer refused. The Austin brothers are on the case.See you next week.
