The usually dependable Wader's defence were caught cold inside 2 minutes on the club's first visit to Farnborough. The hero of Hereford Liam Gooch spilled a tame shot only for poaching forward Jayden Antwi to snap up the easiest of chances and give the visitors an early deficit. More errors as Michael Elias-Fernandes danced his way through to unleash a powerful shot to double the lead. From the re-start a lofted ball into the Farnborough area had Liam Brooks fouled and laying prostrate, needing lengthy attention. The resulting penalty was despatched with ease by Nathan Hicks as the goalkeeper went the wrong way.

Domination now from the boys in green as shot after shot cannoned off desperate defenders. The football from Biggleswade a delight but brought no rewards. The best chance fell to Big Gav late on but he could only scoop his shot over from close range. Lesson learnt, from the off in future.

Redditch at the Langford Road on Saturday kick off 1500 hours. Up the Waders.
