First Victory of the Season

Blackburn edge Rochdale & Clitheroe in triangular

Blackburn first took on Rochdale in the first game and after being 4-1 down at half time, rallied in the second to sneak it 6-5 in a well contested game. Try scorers were Alfie (2), Bryn, Charlie (2), Taylor.
Clitheroe were next. Blackburn started well leading 3-0 at half time through tries from Charlie (2) and Reuben. Clitheroe fought back well in the second half with the final score being 4-1 to Blackburn. Blackburn's try scorer was Rheon.
It was great to be involved with Rochdale and Clitheroe teams and supporters. All three games were played in excellent spirit and there were many comments on the line regarding how well all the games were refereed. Thanks go to Mr. McHugh.
